Firemac 41 Posted August 1, 2012 As you all know, this magnificent game that is only in ALPHA mode has already recieved tons of retarded hackers who thinks its funny to cheat because they are either too bad or too lazy to do stuff on their own. So everyone that is new to DayZ should be carefull while playing, because a new threat to you inside the game has borned - Hackers. They can spawn items ingame that doesnt belong there. Teleport you across the map, become invincible and even teleport themselfs to you. Today I logged into LU170 to play alittle when I noticed a player crawling in the distance. I shot him three times with my sniper and yet he didnt die. I saw the blood flowing and he only dissapeard. Minutes later I noticed that someone was behind me, I turned around and shot my attacker two times in the chest with my sniper, yet he didnt die he only dissapeared.I quickly understood that this was the same guy who was 600 meters infront of me just some minutes ago, but how did he get behind me? I knew that he was a hacker and I quickly aborted the game. I advise all new players to do the same if something weird like this happends to you. These hackers show no mercy and will kill you when they get the chance. I have warned you, and this is everything I can do in order to help you all.- Firemac, a loyal hardcore player.
ALiborio 13 Posted August 1, 2012 I had a run in with my first hackers today. I was next to the NW airfield and I got suddenly teleported to a rooftop with at least 10+ guys on it. Heard someone in the comms saying what the hell and then I just quit immediately, hopefully before I got killed.

Penny Sue 77 Posted October 23, 2012 I haven't ran into them on private servers using private hives with admins who actively police them. I have ran into them on random public servers on public hive where admins either don't give a damn, are ignorant to the problem, or are in on it. You can still enjoy the game by taking extra steps to limit exposure to hackers!
kebman 213 Posted October 23, 2012 Hackers destroy the game, plain and simple. What should be a pure experience of trying to survive becomes... nothing when you get access to all the gear, when you can teleport around, and all that's left to do is really greaf other players. It's just sad.
Spandex 5 Posted October 24, 2012 After playing for several weeks and not seeing a single hacker and then saying so on these very forums I have been brutalised by hackers twice in the last 3 days. First up they took our car off us, teleported us into a pit of death and executed us. Last night they somehow stripped one guy of all his equipment and then started levitating everyone. Luckily I got wind of it before much had happened and emergency bailed. My 2 buddies died when they logged back in though. What was annoying, and worrying, was that there was only 4 of us on the server when the hacker dropped in and killed (tried to kill) all of us. Before now keeping to low pop servers was a good way to avoid them.
Mos1ey 6301 Posted October 24, 2012 TL;DR - 'I lack the mental capacity to find a whitelist/password protected server with decent admin'.
sneekygreenman 196 Posted October 24, 2012 Yeah, im on a pub server regualry, but with great admins and gotcha-anti-hack, hackers are pretty much gone
Firemac 41 Posted October 28, 2012 I dont know if I'm allowed to post other servers, but you should try out private hives like this one http://zombies.comrade.su/Good connection, good security and nice players :)
