Ethan the Drake 5 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) yea, topic name says it all... about 5:30am Central Time, A friend (Jack Doomsayer) was passed out because he logged out in shock and I dragged him into a warehouse where I threw tin cans at his unconscious body as punishment for alt-f4ing on that poor sniper in the last server, when suddenly the entire server was teleported somewhere in the wilderness and killed... well not all of us were killed, I managed to get out alive (although with broken legs and now I'M in shock so yay for waiting for me next time i log in...) but jack and many others did not make it out, sadly :(This was actually a pretty bad night for hacking for me and my friend... the first time hackers teleported me somewhere near the coast next to them and a boat they were in and told me to get in or they'd shoot, which i then promptly alt-f4'd because I don't want anything to do with them...The next server we hopped into, all my stuff was gone and i was in debug plains... but thankfully a log in and log out put me back on the coast with all my previous stuff. While attempting to get back to Jack as he did not get tele'd like I did, Hackers decide to mess with me (dunno if same ones :/) the next while in that server was very confusing, and felt an awful lot like the Futurama episode with the Harlem globetrotters, with me teleporting into one area, then teleporting to the area i was in, then teleporting to another... then back where I was... eventually i got fed up and left...Next server, with a low player count which we hoped hackers wouldnt mess with because of such a low player count, a man with a ghillie suit ran past me. (which I creatively dubbed "Ghillie Suit Man") I shot him in the head because I'm a jerk like that, and he stopped, turned, laughed in direct, and broke my legs (without shooting or anything. Just *crack*) then disappeared. At least he was nice enough to leave me alive? Luckily I had morphine and continued on for about 30 minutes. Eventually Jack gets sniped and he alt-f4's (which i later punished him for. Alt-f4ing during normal play is stupid.)NEXT SERVER... at this point we're running out of servers. My friend lives in Australia and I live in the US, so only a very select few servers work well for the both of us. We finally meet up and the aforementioned teleporting happened.I realize this topic is done to DEATH, people complaining about hackers and what not... but seriously? 4 "Hackings" in one night, within 2 hours? Is that unlucky or what? And throughout it all it was the same character, my first one that's lived over a week, and I expect to die very soon to be honest, but its rather anti-climatic to die because of hackers. Hell, he might already be dead and just about to bleed out the moment I log in.The thing that gets me the most though is the fact that I never got to see any of their names, so I have no idea who they were and I didn't fraps or screenshot anything...
