Cant create another profile/character

Just quickly like to say i am totally new so please bare with me and re frame from the harsh comments if im being stupid aha,

Pretty much me and my brother are playing this on the same PC and game which is fine... My brothers player works fine with no issues. but when i switch player back on the home screen/menu of arma and go into a game/server it will load his inventory and all his items and plays as his character?!? i wasn't sure whether Dayz only allows one person/character, or if im doing something wrong???:huh: any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Players/characters are based on GUID. Basically: CD-Keys.

Buying a second game may not help.

I play on the same computer with my mate.

We have 2 coppies of CO, mines on Steam, his isnt.

But I spawn with his stuff, and I have no idea how to fix it.
