Teleported into the ocean while transitioning to a Bandit??

Hey, as thread title suggests, I was teleported into the ocean after killing some guy who got a little too close for comfort. First shot hit him and he went down - I followed it up with a second shot to his body to make sure he wasn't just incapacitated, after that second shot my screen went dark and said "Requesting Character Data From Server" then it suddenly plopped me in the ocean as a Bandit.

Was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Or if a Dev could enlighten me on the problem.

Yer I got this earlier on the guy shot me in the back of the head after posing as a friendly and joining our group for about 20 minutes, I shot him back unloading a whole 1911 clip into his face and then I died and respawned but he was still alive somehow but he died shortly after I respawned and my screen went black as you said and then I was in the ocean :/

I think he was transforming into a bandito, thats why you couldn't kill him
