Lost to server restart?

So i was flying my chopper, repaired the day they cam back, got hit by a server restart, tried to land when the minute warning came up, just touched down and before i could get out and save the server went down, the chopper was not present upon login and it was not back at the last save point or spawn, any ideas on what might be the cause of this?

it should be where you landed the last time before the server restart.

I think it takes 13 hours for vehicles to respawn ingame so just hang in there and maybe repair another one :P

The same thing happened to our squad today, except we were flying it during an unannounced server reset... :(

So it's possible the chopper will respawn where we last saved after 13 hours? God I hope so
