Roving horde of Zombies

Just a Thought and it might not be a possibility, but I was thinking it would be interesting if there was just one big horde of zombies that roved around the map. Maybe around the edge of the map. That way if some one is camping out there in the wilderness, and they think its safe then BAM 20 or more zombies start coming over the hill.

was thinking this very thing last night while pondering some ideas,,,,id love to see it happen but the performance hit might be an issue

I like this idea it would make traveling around in the wilderness a bit more interesting.
