Food for thought

The hacking in this game is a massive problem. It is on a scale that I have never seen before. To me this should be priority when versions are released not fixing helecoptors, or gun mechanics. Please put a focus on this devs and get it under control. I don't know what you have to do but if you don't do something I think your community will start to dwindle in numbers. I play with a group of 9 people and we play almost every day and almost every day we have some type of run in with a hacker. It's just not fun to get gear, get vehicles, and then get killed by a hacker. I am begging you devs to fix this. This game is amazing and I would like to see it succeed.

I don't know what you have to do

This is the problem most people seem to have. They don't know that the problem lies in the way the arma 2 engine was built to be easily modable and scripted. What makes DayZ even possible is the same thing that makes hacking so easy. It's not a simple fix and the reality is, that in mod form, this weakness may never be fixed. The best we can hope for is an improvement, even a standalone version is likely to see hacks. Might as well get used to it....very few games like this have ever been hack free.
