CA1 Ban?

I was having fun playing on this server earlier tonight--one of the guys from a local clan picked me and others up for a ride in their helicopter and took us for a spin. After a while he set down the copter and told us there was going to be a server reset. After a few minutes I got teleported and some weird text showed up on the screen, something like "welcome to the thunderdome, weapons are in boxes"--and then the server reset. I went to another server because I had no idea where I was--but when I got on the other server I was a fresh spawn (not sure if it's because it's not on the hive and I'd died before or if I was dead on CA1). Anyway, a while later I tried to get back in and I was banned for hacking or scripting even though I didn't do anything like that, wouldn't know how to do anything like that, and wouldn't do it if I did know how--I haven't even gotten a murder in any life yet and I've been playing a couple of weeks. Can I get unbanned? It seemed like a friendly group and I actually kind of enjoyed the side chat being enabled. Could you at least tell me why I got banned?

This player hacked his user information (no player sync for 30+ minutes) and thunderdomed the server.

I assure you that I didn't thunderdome the server and if you banned me for it then whoever did it got away scot free--I got teleported someplace right before the server reset--I have a screenshot of the place, but I've never seen it before and I didn't do anything to get there. One minute I was standing next to that guy Fourty-something who was flying the copter, and the next I was in some weird place, then in like a second I got the "session disconnected" message.
