I know that bows could easily reach 100 yards and more with the right equipment.How about adding a new Carbon bolt which increases the range of the crossbow, or even a scoped version of the existing crossbow much like the SD and scoped versions of the M4 and M16. unsobill 0 Posted May 24, 2012 2 things to add about crossbows in general : 1) please make retrieving arrows easier by including arrows INSIDE dead zombie inventory. 2)give us option to use knife on wood sticks to create arrows - there should be penalty of accuracy and distance and time required for creating one arrow. The carbon bolt could be destroyed on use.[/quote']Yes a crossbow bolt should be able to go 200 yards, however it should drop quite a lot in height and it would most likely take 2s+.Hunting crossbows are 200-300 fps I think. ~1s for 100 yards.
