Ricky Guns 0 Posted August 1, 2012 A friend of mine showed me a few youtube videos of this game and I am very eager to give it a go with a group of other friends. I do understand that I need to get Arma II first. I am pretty sure my laptop can run it, but here is an image of my laptop's specs for reassuring confirmation that it is good enough: http://i.imgur.com/CdGmj.pngHowever the problem is that I think my other computer that I'd prefer to play the game on might not be able to run the game. The specs are the following:Processor: Intel ® Core™2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHzRAM: 4 GB (3 GB usable)System type: 32-bit Operating System395 GB out of 465 GB space left.Thanks. termhn 20 Posted August 1, 2012 It may be able to run it on low... not really familiar with those parts :/
Flatline 32 Posted August 1, 2012 The stationary PC will definitely run Arma 2 well enough at low, but your GPU is the main issue I think. The laptop will also run it but probably not as well. Don't expect super performance, but if you can live with low settings, I think you can hit 30 FPS easily enough.

My stationary PC could hardly run GTA IV on low settings. Though my graphics card was changed so do you reckon it could run it now? I am using GTA IV as an example because my laptop runs it very well, same applies to Skyrim. Is the game fun to play while on low settings? Won't I have to deal with the disadvantage of not seeing zombies far ahead?
MikeTupper 68 Posted August 1, 2012 anyone can run the game. I play on a laptop
jebus (DayZ) 0 Posted August 1, 2012 The desktop will not run it. The 5450 is very low end. It is equal to integrated hd 3000 graphics. The laptop may run it because the integrated graphics is pretty strong. Try arma 2 free or operation arrowhead free. If it runs crappy then dayz will be unplayable. Dayz is more intensive then those two games
