Heli dissapeared

Why would a heli dissapear?

I hid the heli extremely well, and logged off. When I logged back in 4-5 hours, it wasn't there. Do heli despawn if you land them at the maps edge? (no outside of map, there were still forests around)

I highly doubt someone took it. I'm just trying to understand why would the server despawn a vehicle

Sometimes on server restarts all tents and vehicles vanish, on another restart they reappear. Hopefully this is the case for you.

Yea, 4-5 hours is a perfect amount of time for someone to find it. Trust me, people spend ALL day running up and down the edges of the maps.
