Helicopter stuck underwater

My clan fixed up the chopper on our server and had it hidden for a day, but last night someone stole it. I heard it flying overhead and when I saw it I immediately started shooting the bird. I managed to get a few shots off with my anti-material sniper, enough to take out the engine. As he was going down over the ocean, he combat logged and the chopper disappeared with no explosion.

Today I decided to check out the spot in the ocean where it crashed and found this:

It's too deep underwater to interact with, so now I'm trying to figure what to do with it. Does it take 7 days to respawn if destroyed? Or is there some way I can pull it out of the water :P ?

hmm my clan mates are telling me to blow it up, they say the respawn timer won't start unless it's destroyed. Can anyone confirm that?

doesnt matter

and when the server restarts itll repair itself underwater anyway
