Just bought ArmA 2

I just bought ArmA 2 and I can wait to play, but unfortunately I have to wait 8 hours for it to download. O_O Anyone have any good video guides to getting started on DayZ?

Try looking at the New Player board here.

And no amount of video guides will completely prepare you for the experience. It's a bit of a learning curve and you should expect to die and rage a bit before understanding how to survive. Totally normal!

I think it was 1.7....4? but zombies after that patch became retarded OP. Don't bother with stealth honestly. Just run into a building and log out.

Look up the guides, i suggest sacriel/chibigoat.
