Archangel (DayZ) 1 Posted May 24, 2012 Well currently we have the temp value of 100, if we go into water or it rains the temp drops and we could catch an infection and our total blood drops to 6000.Now a small but sensible addition to this would be a small change to the thirst system, currently it seems like thirst and food is time based rather than "usage" based. My idea for it is so that thirst is regulated by movement (how much you carry and how fast) and temprature, so have the temp value raise if its to HOT/Sun is out or if you sprint / run alot and this you have to regulate with drinking.[side note] Maybe the waterbottle could have additional bonuses to it compared to pepsi etc, since you have to take the risk to fill it up why not make it so it have 2 or 3 uses rather than just one.The effects of not drinking.. well screen getting grey, you start to faint alot eventually, the screen shake doesnt fit in on this but maybe the screen could get a blurr?----Short version:Temp value up to 200, it goes up if you sprint or spend to much time in the sun / carry alot of heavy stuffFix: Drinkeffects: Blurred vision, greyed out, fainting, death? LondonHyena 7 Posted May 24, 2012 This would make sense, bit complicated but I quite like it.
Archangel (DayZ) 1 Posted May 24, 2012 Yeah thats what i was thinking as Well, if the temp can go down it should be able to go up as well
Archangel (DayZ) 1 Posted May 24, 2012 Maybe we could even see the introduction of camel packs
Fonz (DayZ) 0 Posted May 24, 2012 Sounds awesome.Camel packs would be fun aswell and i do agree that tha waterbottle should be multiple uses since one wouldent jusst chug it all during that kinda situation.
Fonzy 0 Posted May 24, 2012 The Idea sounds like something that would fit with the current temp system
