abused_man 0 Posted July 31, 2012 today at 22:30 GMT+1 i and some friends were hanging around at the north east airfield, one in the tower, one in the west most hangar, one on Olsha, with no line of sight to the airfield and me in some trees at 400m north and middle to the airfield, can't remember the exact GPS coordinates. Suddenly kill messages began to pop up, about 20 in 20secs, first we thought thats because of some kind of organized battle. Then a big explosion killed the man at the tower, 2 secs later a explosion killed the man in the hanger, two more seconds later i was killed from a explosion and two more seconds later our friend on Olsha was killed by an explosion. all of us were good hidden and we have arrived ther two minutes before ... only the one on olsha were still running towards us. Such a massacre isn't possible when playing regular. Looks like the admin has modded the server and was able to create explosions at any player location he wants. please, take him the possibility of running a public dayz server and lock his CD-Key ....show us your BAN Hammer and make it public, or this kind of cheating will ruin DayZ very quickly, not only for me Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
maclof 0 Posted August 3, 2012 (edited) I'd just like to point out that these "explosions" would be caused by hackers injecting their scripts into the server, not the admin of the server.The problem exists with any and all servers at the moment, you were just unlucky to get targeted by the hacker.If you had names, I'd try and look into it some more.Fyi, I am the admin of FR 136.
