No gunshot noise problem

So basically, I can't hear ANY gunshots outside of maybe 15 meters. The ones I can hear are INCREDIBLY quiet. Even my own gunshots sound like I'm playing with a paintball gun or something. I haven't died to it yet, because I play with a few friends- but they hear gunshots a lot and I never have. I don't know what the problem is- My volume is maxed out except for music.

Is your blood low? That makes hearing hard. Then maybe your sound is not working as it should and you need to dial it up outside of game so its louder inside game. =D If that make sense.

I have 12000 blood, my DayZ is max in my sound mixer, all volumes are maxxed except for music which is at minimum.

I have the same problem

I run with DayZCommander using Steam
