Ventrilo issues

Ok here is the situation have a friend running dayz on a windows 7 pc .... using ventrilo he is only able to speak when he is alt + tabbed to the desktop once the game is up his mic will not work .... anyone have this issue previously and or does anyone have any suggested fixes ? <_<

had this issue once with another game, try running vent as administrator

He is right all you have to do is run it as administrator. You can set it up to where ventrilo runs as admin always through your settings.
