So this is happened to me a few times on several different servers, but now I'm annoyed enough to actually ask --

Has anyone else been randomly teleported to a location with ALL other players on the server then mowed down my machine gun fire? Is this a hack or an admin abusing powers? It seems like a different location each time, and don't get me wrong you CAN run like hell... but the last time this happened (yesterday) i found my first pair of NVG's and an m24 so I'm irritated that I randomly got tele'd and killed thus loosing the sweet stuff i found.

It's some weird trick of hackers. The best thing you can do is just abort if you get teleported. :)

Just log out when it happens. If its thunderdome grab a nice weapon from the box for your inconvenience and log to a different server.

Happened to me last night, teleported to some kind of compound which I learned was called a Thunderdome. Has been going on a lot lately.

I managed to very quickly disconnect before dying but still had to run all the way back across the map on another server.

Does anyone know off hand if disconnecting fast enough prevents the hive from saving your new location? I'm thinking being teleported up into the air or into a very far away place. If one disconnects or ALT F4's really fast can that prevent the location save?

I disconnected from thunderdome last night. What do you mean nice weapons? I assume the ammo boxes are there? Are these weapons "legal" in DayZ or are they the main game weapons?

Seems a bit cheap to take them now that I think of it.

Just happened to my and another player on Norway 2 and Norway 26. My friend got teleported to a helicrash and was hacked in the face with an axe, I managed to log of the server in time. I immediately logged on 26 to see if my survivor was alive, then suddenly out of nowhere a guy comes up from behind me and nail me in the head. He could not have sneaked upon me because I was continously scanning around. This really fucks up the gameplay for me.. Just got a M4 SD and NVG from a "mysterious stranger", now it is all lost of course.

Well thanks for the helpful info MOST of you. Last time this happened i was just like "sweet nvg's!" then POOF. lag spike and im surrouneded by a buttload of peeps so i try to run, get capped in the knee, teabagged, then killed. Definitely one of those "lolwat?" moments.
