A safe-house?However, the way DayZ works, first they'd take your gear, and then probably they'd kill you and take the rest... Or just kill you, and save themselves the trouble. You'll respawn anyway.The reason drug dealers don't KOS is because they know you'll come back for more. It's a mutual benefit. And if they kill you, you don't respawn, so there's really no benefit in it. This mutual benefit is IMO lacking in DayZ as it's easier and safer to just kill you.So... Taso (DayZ) 13 Posted July 31, 2012 I've independently conducted four trades now. All complete successes.It's easy to ensure a good trade by promising to Alt+F4 if you're betrayed. That way, your corpse disappears and no one gets anything.Sure, someone could go way out of their way to grief you, and that's a risk, but they won't get anything out of it.[i know Alt+F4 is regarded as a shitty thing in this game, and I agree, but using it as protection against griefers is something I'm willing to do]Alternatively, have sniper cover and do the deal in a large, open area away from the public. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
