Anyone else experiencing this???

On many occasions I seem to run into this problem where after running a reasonably long distance to find loot in an area, that no loot spawns and occasionally no zombies spawn.

I don't think it's a server problem as none of my group seem to have this problem so I usually put it down to my IP not syncing with the server correctly, therefore causing the server not to trigger the spawning near to me. However it seems to happen more and more so I was wondering if anyone else experiences this/has any fixes? Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I have no idea how I would search for this :P
