Forum Suggestion: Bury Thread / Resurrect Thread Feature

Here's my suggestion to quell those zombie hordes spawning on these forums with their zombie ideas. Perhaps the last few survivors on these forums would acknowledge to have some tools for forum members to either bury or resurrect a given thread provided it has enough backing by community members with suitable approval from moderators on these forums. The lack of upkeeping on these forums is plain annoying so why not leave to forum regulars to get to decide which threads get buried and resurrected. This then gets reviewed by mods and the thread gets buried towards the last pages of these forums. Let the beans roll.

You should be able to resurrect a thread without having to bump your own posts. A ticker system where you could queue your posts to make it to the front page for said amount of time to bring about discussion on original ideas/topics buried under the heap of recycled ideas is what i had in mind. I understand it could be used to spam unwanted topics into the ticker system, but could have it implemented in such a way that topics with dates before a certain time period can only use the ticker system.
