Script kiddie [WMGG]OwnedLikePie

Was on our server last night teleporting around killing everyone and setting off huge explosions. It's the same loser we had before called "Jamie" he's just changed his name to "[WMGG]OwnedLikePie"

One of my friends reported it to the dev team but they haven't done anything, not even got back to him.

So for anyone else that hates cheating script kiddies here is this one's GUID

We also have his ip and have contacted his ISP with our logs to ask them what their stance is on their customers running malicious scripts on other people's property.

So it looks like his mummy and daddy will be getting an angry letter from the isp saying they have been cut off.

The ISP dont care if someone using cheats they cant and will not do anything so this is useless

Unless it was against the law(which is not in most countrys)it was not like he was "hacking" something

i.e Hacking the Server so he gains control of it(RCON etc.) or DDoS/DoS the server

EDIT:Just to proof that noone gets the ISP cut off from cheating.Why are all the CS.S etc. Aimbot kiddies not cut off the internet?

Probably because Admins are allowed to ban people in Countertrike which is what they do and that's the end of it I'd be surprised anyone has made a complaint to an isp about aimbotting on a CS server. Running malicious scripts on someone else's property (server) could well be against the law in the UK tho regardless it's against the terms and conditions of most ISPs which is who we have made the complaint too.

Case in point for you. Being an internet troll is against the law here in the UK and people have been sent to prison for it. Someone was arrested today by police for abusing someone on Twitter for being crap at the Olympics

First of all Trolling is not against the law in any Country

also he is not charged of anything yet

Police have 24 hours to question him in custody before deciding whether any charges should be filed.

and using stuff to gain advantage(Scripts,Hacks[AIMBOT,WALLHACK,ESP]) is not against most ISP's TOS

HACKING in the good old meaning of it(Stealing Passwords,CC Faking,Server Hacking[Gaining Control,Shutdown]DoS/DDoS) is agains the law in most European countrys this stuff is know as Cybencrimes.So there is a 2,758% Chance that the ISP will Cut him off.Also i think you need to get a lawyer to get this through

Sorry but trolling (bullying people on Facebook, abusing people on Twitter for example) is against the law in the UK and people have been imprisoned for it. I also said the that the person was arrested for abusing someone I never said anything about being charged.

Running malicious scripts is against the tos of most isps here in the UK. When you sign up for an internet contract here you agree not to use it for reasons such this. I know the difference between hacking and scripting it's why I don't refer to the people that cheat as hackers, they are script kiddies who have copy and pasted something someone else has written.

Lastly your not allowed to ban the hacker it's against Rocket's tos. Your supposed to report it to the Dev team and they will ban from the hive. We've done this and nothing has been done because the dev team are too busy/don't care.

Ok didnt know the ISP tos in the UK but for me trolling is not abusing instulin bullying someone thats simply it own cases.

But why arent you allowed to ban people? i have already seen guys that have been banned for "hacking" even if it was false in most cases even Combat Logging is bannable as it seems

Well there's rockets terms of service that say server admins cannot ban except for racism and spamming although I don't agree with that, I think admins should be able to ban script kiddies. Also our server provider restricts access to the ban list which I assume is to prevent admins from breaching the Dayz tos.

I would love to ban people from my server but sadly I can't :( I'd only ban for scripting tho as combat logging or server hopping can have legitimate reasons even tho in most cases its people trying to escape death (combat logging) or farming loot (server hopping) lol.
