has anyone got an asus sound card installed and play dayz? im wondering how they get on together as im thinking of getting an ASUS Xonar D2X and then maybe some 7.1 headphones to play the game but im my old computer i had an EMU 1820 sound card and i didnt get any sound in arma 2 at all despite my best efforts.

excellent. thanks.

I hear surround sound headphones sound worse than Stereo headphones with virtualized Surround.

Siberia V2 and X-FI Titanium HD with CMSS-3D... Never had any trouble locating sounds.
