DMR or M24?

Recommended Posts

In your opinion, which sniper rifle is better/ do you like more?

I already have the M24 but just found a DMR, plenty of ammo for both but i don't know if the DMR is worth picking up.

mhh lets see... a rifle with about the accuracy as an assault rifle, just with a scope, or the most accurate rifle in all of dayZ with an effective range of 800 meters...

i tend to get the later, but i'm a M24 fanboy and also like the CZ550 (almost the same), but i like the dmr when i find one

I personally like M24 better. It has zeroing with much more accuracy.

I would take a M24 and find another assault rifle i could use.

But.. i guess it depends on your playstyle.

They have both same firepower. DMR is pretty accurate, it's semi-auto, more ammunition per mag, and it works with a NVG!

So i guess most people would choose dmr

Can't rly use DMR's mildot system without missing a shot or two first. so I usually go with M24's zeroing. Same ammo, same damage.

M24 in a heartbeat if I don't have access to an AS50 or M107.

Does it have more ammo than the one in my backpack? If so, I like it more.

you can split dmr ammo into m24 ammo, meaning you can keep 4 m24 clips with a single item slot in your backpack...

If you're a lone wolf, M24. More versatile. If you're in a group and specialize as sniper support, then the DMR.
