Can't see objects

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

I got a problem with day z, i just played for some time with a friend we ran around for a while and i could see all objects, than all of the sudden i couldn't anymore.

I can't see cars, even is a person is sitting in it, he will be displayed as standing around.

I can run through cars and others can see that, so i can stand in cars for them.

I didn't change anything on my pc and it just happened while playing.

Any ideas what to do to fix it?

greets

Try

Shift+numpad minus(-)

and type

"flush" without quotation marks.

Could be some sort of graphical issue on your end with your PC? I'd just exit the game and re enter to see if it is fixed. If not then restart your computer or play around with the settings. If it was working fine before then that should probably fix your problem.

Hi, thanks for the fast response.

i can't open a console with shift and - und the numpad.

Also i tried to change the resolution, no effect.

But i can see objects which are not in the range of the "gras-renderzone" and objects i placed myself, but i can't see cars at anypoint.

restarting the pc now, update in a sec

The shift and numpad - doesn't actually open up a command/console window or any give you any other visual indication. You'll only know it worked once you finish typing flush when the screen goes black for a few seconds and a message appears telling you it's flushing the graphics.

Okay rebooted, played around with the grapic settings and used the flush command, nothing changed.

So i ran around for sometime, and it seems like that just those objects are bugged for me, i found some other objects.

It could be one of your pbo files corrupted.

Try 'verify integerity cache'
