Is this laptop good enough for DayZ?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys a friend of mine has been wanting to get DayZ since I told him about it 2 months ago. He is looking at purchasing a new laptop. This one is what he wants but I don't know if it will be able to run Arma2, the graphics card does not seem to be amazing. He is not after a laptop for gaming though so can't justify spending anymore really than £400. Just wanted to know if this would be able to run Arma2 and obviously DayZ.

Many thanks

You will have problems with the not existing graphic card. This laptop isnt good for games in general.

Intel® HD Graphics 3000 nop

For those money you can buy a Dell Inspirion N series or a bit better with 1GB HD 5450 not shared memory and 4GB ram and add some more ram and you will be able to play most of the recent games. I personaly have 610 N and im happy tho it could use some more ram. And basicly you need either notebook with ATI or GEforce card with own VIDEO memory = not shared with cpu or ram.
