Have you tried to go back on that server? Does it say you're banned?

If so contact the admin, he'll know more than us.

unfortunately i don't remember the exact number, as i joined anotehr server right away after this happened. it was a LU2something...

LU245 or LU249 i think. I picked it because there were only a few players

I got kicked and banned from LU245. Never took much notice at first as im a new player and I didn't know admin are not supposed to kick people to keep the server empty just for them selves, but after reading this post It seems the admins on this server are trying to keep the server empty so they can get better gear without fear of other players. What is more worrying is that the LU245 server is now full up of PTG members. I think they are the same ones from UK116 that was mentioned here a few days ago http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/43529-uk116/page__hl__uk116

It would seem that they are actually bending the rules to get them selves better gear. Is this something that is allowed? or is it something that is frowned upon? M00se the server admin from the above post says that cheats and hackers are dealt with but he plays on a server that bans on connect. I really hate people bending the rules to suit them selves. The minority of idiots ruin for the majority :(

Looking at a couple of the forums the PTG guys frequent its looks like one member has brought a different server and has decided to be a plonker with it. The issue has now been flagged with the clan leaders and it looks like someone may be in for a 'bollocking'. Its shame because 116 is a great server but last night they got hit hard by hackers which destroyed most of the citys and set large fires in the forrests due to helis being spawned.. this event led to a hand full of members (its a massive clan) joining the LU245 server to escape the deluge.

The person incharge of LU245 has been banning lots of people...which means it wont last long. Im guessing the majority of those PTG members didnt know that the owner has been abusing his power and were just looking for somewere to play for a bit while the 116 servers request to be wiped and restarted went through.

I too was banned from this server. After reading your post I had a look to see what I could find. It looks like they frequent a place called Trickery http://trickery.net/vb/showthread.php?t=59890

That thread paints a different picture though? It sounds like people knew that he was banning people and locking the server so they didn't have to die.

I was on Devs server last night as thats where everyone seemed to be when i joined mumble. Wasnt any stocking up going on more a jokeabout with vehicles.

I've just been made aware of all of this. As far as i was concerned, the member who started up his own server was doing so for his own private use and nothing to do with my clan or members. Obviously the situation has changed since i last spoke to him. I can't stop him from having his own server but I will have my council discuss the issue of our members joining it and how it portrays the clan when its blatantly obvious why he has created it.

To say i'm unhappy about all this is an understatement right now!
