Servers forced to give 3-5 warning before restarting

I believe that this is an important issue if you are a geared player with a vehicle. Its beyond annoying when the server I'm on spontaneously restarts without any warning and you reconnect are really far away from the vehicle and have no idea where it is. I was flying a helicopter and the server restarted without warning and thankfully I was on a flat hill and it just landed there, but if there was a slope the thing would have blown up from hitting trees. Something that would have been beyond frustrating since me and my team spent over 12 hours first fixing the helicopter then retrieving it after it was crashed.

I know some servers warn before they do it, but they are so rare. What I propose is whenever an admin forces a nonscheduled (and it should do this even on scheduled restarts) it should give a 3-5 minute delay and warn the players who are currently on the server. It would also help to prevent admins from restarting immediately after they are killed (which is something I've seen people briefing about on here though I don't know why as they would still be dead and their body would disappear?)

I don't know how difficult it would be to set this up, but I imagine it wouldn't be THAT difficult since (correct me if I'm wrong, not sure) people cannot host their own servers and must go through certified server host.

Sucky. All the servers I play on always give a 5 minute warning then count down from there.

Coulda just been admin spite.

Choppers are fun, but rarely the story ever ends well for the people involved.

Admins have to purchase a program, like we use BEC for our server.

It notifies users 15 minutes in advance.

We also post the times as well as on our server thread, just incase it isn't working.

That really sucks. If we ever lose the heli, in all likely hood me and my group will jump to one of your servers (about 5 of us). Just to know, do all of the servers listed in your tag have this warning?

Though, our BEC is currently down due to some issue with a recent beta. The kick while idling for five minutes feature was going haywire and was constantly throwing people out. Someone even went as far to assume it was admin abuse. So we were forced to take it down for some tweaking.

US128 will restart at midnight, 6am, 12pm, and 6pm.

US167 will restart at 1am, 7am, 1pm, and 7pm.

US302 will restart at 2am, 8am, 2pm and 8pm.

it restarted at 9pm last night, prior restart was at 2pm, Ny time. then again at 2 am. Right after a serious amount of hackers had fun. Choppers, a black suv, overpowered weapons, and more laugh riots. But yeah it does restart.

Many thanks. Me and my friends will in all likelyhood move to US302 when we lose the helicopter because the one we are on is not the greatest by any means since it doesn't restart enough which results in fps issues that last hours. But I am relatively new, only been playing for about a week. US302 has the option of: Map On. What is that? Does that mean that you can see other players on the map or that you can just use the map like you can in a regular server?

The only problem is about hackers, if it was your server you would want to turn it off in the same second wouldn't you?

Map on means your blue dot appears on the map for yourself and only when others are close enough to you.
