Arma 2 expansions Help needed

Recommended Posts

I'm new and currently trying to get DayZ working on my computer but I need some help.

I physically bought Arma 2: Reinforcements are there any other expansions I need buy? And do I need to buy the original Arma 2?

Also what does the SIX Updater do. Does it install the mod or does it just automatically upgrade?

Thanks

Both have been stickied for easy access to new people.

I recommend that you download "DayZ Commander" and let that do all of the work for you. You need: Arma II (or the free version, but not recommended) and Operation Arrowhead to play the game. Arma II: Combined Operations is the best one to get because it includes both and costs about 30 USD, if you do not already have one of the two required games. There are two optional DLCs which improve some of the textures but do not worry about them yet and they are not required.
