How do I get tents to properly work?

So I can't seem to get tents to work properly. Everytime we set up a new camp and put our stuff inside the tents, some/all of it disapears after server restart.

This has happened to all of our camps, third time today. Server resets does not fix them either. Also, we save the tents all the time. Could it be the server? I've tried a couple of different servers, none of them have worked properly.

So is there like a special trick to get tents to work properly, or can you guys recomend me some servers that we can try out?
