It's an area about 100x200m closed off in the north west airfield, There are medical tents everywhere, sandbags everywhere, and at each corner of the dome, there is a weapon crate with every weapon in the game to chose from along with all the ammo. Kill everyone and you win apparently. I heard they open it up for the winner and you can take whatever you like.

There is no official punishment for using hacked items, the punishment is for the one who hacked them in to the game.

That seems to be the most common claim, anyway.

All you're doing is encouraging the introduction of more hacked in items if you're actually using these "won" items on other servers...

But again, I stick to the core game and really don't know much about this.

It was weird. Happened to me the first time ever yesterday. I had got jumped about 3 minutes before it happened, so I was fresh spawn ( i dont Alt-F4), so I stuck around and hid in a corner and watched.

I would of been really pissed to lose all my gear and get handed that stuff since I play legit.

I didn't bother exploring it a whole lot because I assumed, it was all illegal, and I might get in trouble for just being there screwing around.

But basically, I got give an AS50 + mags, 1911 + mags, basic med supplies, everything for my tool belt, a coyote back pack, nvgs...

Once everything settled I got in helicopter, flew out of the walls, got about 30m above the ground, turned off "auto-hover" so it would crash.

I assumed that would kill me, but it didnt. So I proceeded to get back to where my dead body was, grabbed my old gear got rid of the new stuff.

I kept the gps for the trouble though, and im debating about dropping it still.

Like I said, I would of been really pissed had I lost all my legit gear to this Hacking BS.

But I just read now that apparently there are boxes there with every gun, so i might just swap over to my old gear, and then gtfo.

Thats about the 3rd or 4th time hacks have happened to me, all the other times its just been the server nuke.

do not praise the hackers. this idea is cool but it is all hacked if players got together and did this it would be awesome. adding hacked gear into servers increases what should be rare. there is nothing stopping legit players from doing this it just takes time and willingness to trust each other. after all if legit players set this up had a sign up and streamed this it would be awesome both to watch and get to know each other. it gives pvp lovers free roam and some sport. rewards could be player donated and or gathered items, you could have different types of battles like clan vs clan, king of the mountain, capture the flag(which would be an item). just take this idea and do it legit with items already in the game and not hacked items. really the only thing limiting in this game is the players creativity and the willingness of people to let players do this in peace with out fear of being sniped.
