CD KEY is in use

So on Saturday I went to my friends house. I jumped into my steam account on his computer and was able to pull up my character and he used his laptop. Well I'm back home and fine but he is getting "CD key is in use". I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this or what needs to be done for him to play on his desktop again.

Actually he was finally able to get into his character, I guess it was due to a setting I put into DayZ Commander. I'll let you know in a minute if I can log in with no probs, but I should be fine.

edit: and I'm myself... I guess if this ever happens to people, it was due to a "overwrite steam files" thing I did in commander, which is the only way I got my character to show up at his house.
