Need help with ramdisk

I dont got so high fps in citys in dayz, so i will try ramdisk to see if its help. But how do i get it work? do i copy the dayz folder into the new RAM or what? hope somebody will write it down step by step (steam user)

Yes, you copy the @DayZ folder into the ramdisk and then add a link to link from the current @DayZ folder to the ramdisk's folder. There are tutorials around on how to do it if you do some Google searches.

Ramdisk isn't creating a virtual drive, anyone know how to fix that?

It worked in the beginning but I wanted to make it larger so I deleted the .img file, increased the size and it's not working now. I'm seeing the same thing after restarting as well.
