1.7.2.4 question

did they increase zombie invincibilityness (i know it's not a word) or revolver damage? because unbeknownst i thought it still killed zeds with one shot. instead i shoot not twice, not three times, but four times before the zombie fell to the ground taking about 3k blood with it.
