Help, The same profile is used!

Currently, I downloaded Arma 2 : OA/ Arma 2 on both my laptop, and my home desktop, all through my steam. Me and my brother want to play together, he will be purchasing Arma 2. In order for both of us to play, does he have to re-install the game on his steam account? Because whenever I try and play the game on both computers it uses the same profile.

Easy fix to this is reboot between sessions, ie when you play Dayz and want your bro to have a go, you need to shutdown PC and fire it up under his steam and all will work fine.

We want to both be playing on the same server, at the same time. Does my brother need to re-install Arma 2 on his steam when he purchases it to work? I think it saves your profile by the CD code or something.

Yes, from what it sounds like steam thinks you're trying to run the same copy of the game at once
