dakilla187 28 Posted July 30, 2012 I have a coyote pack and 3-4 times so far this has happened: I log out with 2 primary guns high teir and the one in my backpack dissapears next time I log on. Ive lost a m4a3cco and another very rare gun from a heli crash site. It was not a backpack space issue, only was gone when I logged back on a server.:(Anyone else?

bond1971@tpg.com.au 92 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Are you logging out within 5 minutes of picking up these weapons? There seems to be a bit of lag when you get new gear and when it actually saves and if you quit out before this then you lose it. Its happening to us a lot, its not limited to weapons, a classic one last night was with 2 x jerry cans, filled up car, put cans in boot, then she got DC'd due to ping timeout (happens to us often due to 4 peeps playing on one connection) and when she logged in, she has the cans still and they are full.Sometimes this 'glitch' can benefit you...My advice to all, when obtaining something new, stay online a bit to ensure it syncs and saves. The forums are full of peeps complaining they just looted something AWESOME from a pvp kill only to log back on and its gone, you know why ??, its cause in most cases they killed and logged quickly to avoid retribution from someone else, didnt allow enough time to save gear and wham, lost it.EDIT: LOL good question maxipads :) Edited July 30, 2012 by Arch
okano666@hotmail.co.uk 81 Posted July 30, 2012 make sure you have the room for a weapon in your pack - atleast 10 slots.make sure when changing your weapon you change the weapon from you bag to your inventory and not the other way around
Prion 61 Posted July 30, 2012 i've had it happen sadly yeah. could be an intermittent bug. could also be you quit before sync to hive happened. not sure if this bug is still around, but it used to be that if you tried to put a primary into your backpack, and say had 9 slots free instead of 10, it would disappear. dakilla187 28 Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) Thanks arch, there was a time at the heli crash I got a timeout shortly after looting, Luckily i put my m4a3 in my backpack and got to keep the dmr I got from the crash. You would figure Id lose the DMR and not the m4a3 which I already had since the m4a3 was already saved huh? But I guess that was not the case in that particular situation...I dont leave the coast without at least a alice pack the coyote was from nw airfield, its quite a large pack, biggest ive found thus farIm bummed because I know not everytime I lost a gun was a result of disconnecting too soonPutting a primary with less then 10 slots into a backpack results in instant primary dissapearing Edited July 31, 2012 by burts
notonehoot 16 Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) Yeah bare minimum for a weapon in your bag such as a rifle is 10 all primary take 10 if you have an 8 slot back pack it will "eat" it but if you have a 24 slot back pack and only 4 slots the wepon will go in but "vomit" out some gear that is in the back pack so exercise caution.
