Problem i may have.

Recommended Posts

I shall hopefully begin playing in the coming week but I have one query before i do. Apparently you can get banned for alt-f4ing or closing the game without using proper means. Which I of course support to stop people from quitting while being shot and whatever. But the issue i have is that my graphics drivers like to stop working on my graphics card quite often which minimizes the game and sometimes renders me unable to maximize the game. unsure why but it does this. so i actually have to ctrl alt delete and quit the game that way and start it back up. What I am wondering is will i get banned for doing this?

I seriously doubt it. The anti-exploit measures aren't implemented yet, to my knowledge, and even when they are, they should be able to tell the difference between periodically quitting wrong and habitually exploiting the disconnect mechanic.

How often is it? If it's not too frequent it's okay. If you get banned, well, you'll know for sure. I don't really know to be honest lol.

it honestly depends. Sometimes i can go through an entire session without it happening. other times it happens 2 or 3 times within 5 minutes. I cant figure out what the problem is with my card as well. My drivers are up to date but nope. still persists

I'm assuming if it came down to it, you could just use fraps to record it happening, extra leverage if needed.

The game can tell what you press to exit, and if you are under fire or not.
