Is there anything special I need to set up voice chat?

I need to know how to set up voice chat.

Do i need a mic or can i use the one built into my computer?

Please help me as soon as possible.

The game is really good about using any mike... for a while I was just yelling at my webcam (it has a built in mike) until I dug up my nice USB headset.

If you play with friends I suggest a steam chat... that way you can communicate silently but also in game by hitting the chat button.
