joppus (DayZ) 12 Posted August 1, 2012 Im also getting lag in those cities and I have a good computer, but it seems that the lag reallydepends on which server I play on and not which settings I choose, cause changing from like High-Low doesn't change a thing.. disorder 344 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) I always get lag when I'm looking through binocs or a scope, or sometimes zooming in.I think its due to the way ARMA streams textures from low to high detail when you approach things and zoom in, the only think I can think of is make sure placement is good on your hard disk (defrag) and also that you have a reasonably fast drive.
