Day Z demo

Hello i got the full version of non steam arma 2 and wanna try the "demo" of day z. Do i need Opperation Arrowhead aswell ? or i can instal mod on only arma 2.

there is no Demo, it's a Mod, you need OA to play it.

Oh but here http://www.dayz.pl/jak-zainstalowac-day-z/ on poster is write "befor you buy anything you should try the demo first to make sure you can run the game" so i was thinking there is some demo version. anyway thanks for info still thinking is it worth to buy OA to play if i cant try it first somehow.

if you can run arma 2 you can run dayz, because youre not running dayz, youre running arma 2. you need operation arrowhead as well.

just thought about it, the demo they mean is most likely "ARMA2: free"

basically, its some of the single player vanilla ARMA2 game, with no multiplayer or mission editing
