Maps not working

I have found a map, but it does not show my location. I have tried to play on different servers and it is the same thing. All the servers I am playing on Regular. Did something change so that you will not see your location on the map?

U will not see on map where u are ,, if they turn it on "like in arma" u see all players.

2 things u can do ,,, have a GPS for direct info where u are, or take a good look around you, example see how the runway s follow and open map and see if you see that road.

Like in real, if you have a map in your hands you dont see the spot "he here i am".

Up until recently, it always showed a blue dot of my current location. That was across a variety of servers. I have never seen "all players" I normally only see my blue dot and occasionally I'll see a my friends dot, when we are right next to each other.

varies from server to server for the moment. i know of at least one server set to veteran that shows location on the map, and a few other veteran servers that don't.

I am fairly certain that this is a server feature. So if it's turned off, you won't see yourself. You might just be joining a bunch of servers that have it turned off.

Sounds good. I try not to "server hop" but the few servers that I normally play on, have not updated to the latest game patch yet.

Thats sounds new for me ,, on arma you see red dots (teammates or enemy) if its set on, can be done in server config.

Will take a good look at it if thats work on that way, thanks for the info.

Would be actually cool if you have gps that your location is shown on the map also, or zoom out your gps.

I've never seen a decent gps without zoom -.-

And this is military!
