Possible Trick To Reach Stuck Crash Site Loot?

So in this video:

Someone used satchel charges to blow up a heli crash site.

They expected there to be only a smoking crater left, but only the actual crashed heli was destroyed.

The loot originally stuck underneath the heli was fine, and more importantly, now reachable.

The point of this topic was to see if anybody could confirm/deny this in their own personal experiences.

I also want to see if you could do this with a frag grenade or any other type of explosive.
