Teleported to the ocean bug

I was walking in the woods and got teleported to the ocean with everyone else on the server. I logged out and logged back in in the same place. I started swimming and im stuck on an invisible wall because i cant swim any farther. Ive been swimming for over 2 hours. Ive had my temp so low and flashing for the past hour and i cant die. I cant respawn, suicide, or do anything to get out. Any thoughts or ideas?

I think it was a hacker or something. Since the new patch theres no "ocean bug after change skin" anymore. (:

Bullshit. I equipped a ghillie and i got teleported to water world. Then teleported back with no ghillie. i have an up to date arma and dayz build

Bad luck, for me and all my friends it worked yesterday. Don't title a "try to help post" from me as bullshit, ok? (:

I tought theres a fix that if u spawn in the ocean u will be teleported to the coast, but.. otherwise u have to swim.

well swimming for the past 2 1/2 hours from the drop spot of the bug let me swim like 10 feet then i just glitch back. So swimming is out of the question because its just not working. you think i should try to role back to a previous version and then reupdate it to see if it just kciks me back to a spawn?

Just had the same bug, found a camo suit in cherno and when i went to equip it i was teleported to the middle of the ocean, unable to respawn. I finally made it to land but there was no trees etc. looked like i'd spawned somewhere completely off the map.

I ended up having to hit esc. then quickly hit respawn before the option was grayed out. It only happened to me and no one else on the server
