After 3 months I finally feel like posting a thread

Sup guys, FitzGerald here. I've been playing Arma2 for many months now. And when DayZ hit I jumped right on board. I have to say I love the game, and love the mod. Thing is, a lot of the challenge has gone away. You hit endgame and go straight to a deathmatch or going and hunting players. Which is part of the mod, I love bandits, them good killing. I'm the sort that only shoots in self defense.

Okay all I have to say is:

1. More varied zombies, walkers, slow but in mass numbers. (spawn in in groups of like 3-5).

2. More zombies. (More fun with more to shoot at)

3. Zombies spawn inland, less of them but occasionally in the woods would be a fun surprise.

4. Ammo, I'm glad the ammo is finally getting tracked. Be more fun. Also, make ammo more rare. I think that with less ammo, there'll be much less reason to shoot unarmed people. Conservation becomes a huge challenge.

5. The addition of more common weapons down the line would be great, so far the majority of weapons available are military grade. I think the ammo for these should be more abundant so you aren't bum-raped by zombies.

6. I think that a stamina system would be great, like the more red your food/drink gets or how high your temperature gets would begin to slow you down.

I know this is still alpha, and I know this mod isn't being made for anyone specific. But regardless, I think it's going down the right track but I feel like after awhile the real challenge of surviving the Z's has grayed and gone away quite a bit.

Most of what you've said has been said a fair few times on these forums. I've even posted a few of them myself.

That said, they're all cool ideas. hopefully Rocket will implement something like this in the future.
