SunOrMoon Command?

Recommended Posts

Hello guys i was reading the patch notes for Arma2 and the article said that they changed some stuff to improve dayz aswell, not only Arma. And i saw this :

  • [94001] New: moonIntensity command
  • [94001] New: sunOrMoon command

So i was wondering, is this a commnad ingame to change the server time or anything like that? or to give full moon to nights so we can have a little bit of light?, in my server on veteran dificutly we have no moon at all.. it would be good to have at least a little source of light.

moonintensity

Sorry, it does not do anything like that. From what I can tell looking at the arma 2 forums it is a command for mission makers. Using the command will return a value of 0 or 1 depending on if the moon is out or not, i.e. it is a GET command, not a SET command.

Could not find anything specific about sunOrMoon but I assume it works much the same way.

To change the moon brightness you would probably have to change the date on your server to a date corresponding to the moon cycle you want.
