Blue Chat

I relatively new but i do know blue chat is supposed to be disabled. A friend of mine owns a server and the chat is disabled but somehow many people are able to use a light blue chat. Am i missing something or how is it this is being done? Thanks in advance for you responses.

Since the last patch, I've seen random blue chat on servers as well. Not like side or global though, and not frequent enough. Have no idea what it is.

I've been seeing it done with in the game, but i can't be certain is there more chat options in the player sceen?

You are looking at global chat. Some servers have it disabled but some have it enabled. press the "/" key to the left of the enter key and then use the arrow keys to cycle through chat channels (direct chat, vehicle chat, global chat and group chat).

Yes I saw it to. And I could talk in the blue = side Channel too. Weird.

the blue chat is common on private non-hive servers

the blue chat is just a setting of the server. there are official servers with chat enabled....
