Spawning as other Players (1.5.8.3)

Ever since the 1.5.8.3 update i've spawned as different people. My player from the 1.5.8.2 version was a bandit and when I died (from trying to loot in electro) I respawned as a survivor. My friend told me it might be because the character number recently hit one million.

ITT: talk about spawning as other characters

DO NOT DIE!

Currently we can't create new characters. We hit 1 million so your new characters can't be created. Will be resolved in next hour.

tons of threads about this. dont really need more of these popping up everywhere.

Its cause of hitting 1 million characters on the server. SO WAIT.

Hmm I was under the impression that you would not be able to spawn at all after dying past the cap... Strange... However this has happened to me many times in 1.5.8.2..
