mccullxch 10 Posted July 30, 2012 When I first join a server on DayZ it seems to load within seconds, I then log out and switch server due to it being night time or laggy etc.I went to switch server and the next time it went to the loading screen it had taken like 5 minutes to join the game, When I left that server it then took about 10+ minutes to join.Have they added a waiting period to stop server hoppers? nufcmickey 32 Posted July 30, 2012 Think yourself lucky, I had a 30 minute wait last night, I dont know whow old you are and if you remember the Sinclair ZX Spectrum days from years ago, it feels like that all over again, and I thought the PC supposed to have fast loading times. Lennsik 176 Posted July 30, 2012 Some servers aren't able to handle client requests as fast as other ones. So, at times with how the Arma2 engine is set up, some servers take longer.
