The Night is Dark and Full of Terror

After the new patch i noticed the night has got a lot darker. Even with brightness and gamma on max its still really hard to see things. Walked into a few zeds cuz i could only hear them but not see them :( The night is full of terror now

I wanna know how u guys r coping with the darkness. I've been struggling at night pretty hard. Any tip is appreciated :)

use ur flashlight, throw flares, find a buddy, or just runn screaming " I regret nothing into the mic" It will make people think twice about shooting u if you just run. lmao

Was it even possible for things to get darker? Maybe if we turn off our screens we'll see more.

Use your light sources. Flashlights, Chemlights, Flares, or if you're really lucky a pair of NVGs. You can make night time work for you. Sure, you're lighting yourself up for everyone else to see. But look at it this way, there are less players to see you. And of those players, many of them will also be relying on conventional light like you are. And finally, most people I know with night vision wouldn't risk engaging an unknown player looting some town somewhere. It's not worth their time or the risk of possibly losing their NVGs. As long as you're not dancing around Stary Sobor throwing flares everywhere, you'll be fine.

I've only died once at night to a player, and I play at night about as much as I do during the day. Night time is much safer than it seems. I love traveling on night time servers to reach patients, even when I don't have night vision. It's safer and therefore usually faster. ;)
