US 1088, Kicking For Ping (Not Excessive)

Recommended Posts

I was kicked repeatedly for pings > 150. I was not rubber banding or desyncing from the server. I was actually getting smoother game play on that server than most servers. This sort of thing should not be allowed to happen. 200+ Ping may be acceptable kicking grounds but to have a server in Seattle and kick for >150 ping is a little ridiculous.

While that is a little ridiculous If they want low pings that's up to them. I have mine set to 200 and under and we place the tag so you can see it before you join. Does it say low pings only before you join the server ???

I think 150ms is more than generous.

Having a smaller ping is obviously better for all concerned.

Hello, I am the owner of US 1088, and I know I set the ping limit at least to 400. Which in my opinion is very generous for EU players and anyone else with a high ping. But it may be bugged to some extent, I will look further into it. Sorry for any inconvenience.
